Senior Casualty Claims Specialist

Stable company provides insurance coverage and additional services to the construction industry. This company encourages its team members to utilize their current casualty claims and litigation knowledge, and then develop a higher level of technical knowledge and practice.

Description
Overall responsibilities include handling commercial casualty claim losses. Provide prompt, professional claim service to insureds and claimants. Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle assigned multi-line claims. Handle assigned volume of claims with reasonable caseload. Develop and maintain excellent rapport with agency force, insureds, claimants, and attorneys. Participate in the company training program to further develop claims skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
Prefer 5+years of claims handling experience in auto bodily injury and/or other general liability claims, as well as litigated claim experience. Possess and practice a positive, professional, cooperative, and quality-conscious service attitude. Possess ability to handle in-depth investigations and coverage issues. Must possess proven decision-making, and skilled written and oral communication practices. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Active Texas Adjuster's License. Multi jurisdiction licensing required. Insurance carrier experience is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred with additional industry education highly valued.
