Have you analyzed risks and underwritten community centers, charter schools, adult day care facilities, health care facilities, boys and girls clubs, foster care facilities? A national leader in the development, marketing, and underwriting of industry-specific insurance programs seeks qualified candidates to build & manage internal and external agency relationships, select profitable risks based upon individual account criteria and underwriting standards, manage portfolio of exposures & take prompt action when necessary, develop new business and retain existing account and meet production and loss ratio objectives utilizing effective interpersonal and technical skills.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred, continuing insurance education desired, insurance designations preferred, but not required, success-driven individual who has demonstrated a minimum of 5-7 years of success in a commercial underwriting role with a proven ability to analyze variables, such as type & amount of coverage, loss control, financial reports, and loss experience. Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, contracts & underwriting guidelines. Ability to interact successfully with agency partners to build & maintain good business relationships. Negotiation and pricing skills as well demonstrated success in producing profitable accounts through independent agents.
